3PL Wins $1,142,250 in New Jersey

A third-party logistics (3PL) provider has secured $1,142,250 in funding from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s (NJEDA) Zero Emission Incentive Program (NJ ZIP) to integrate nine electric vehicles into its fleet. This substantial award underscores the state's commitment to reducing transportation emissions and promoting clean energy solutions.

The NJ ZIP program is a voucher-based initiative designed to support the adoption of zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty vehicles by businesses and institutions in New Jersey. Voucher amounts vary based on vehicle class, ranging from $25,000 for Class 2B vehicles to $100,000 for Class 6 vehicles. Additional bonuses are available for small businesses, certified woman-, minority-, or veteran-owned businesses, and those that scrap older vehicles in favor of new zero-emission ones. The program is set to reopen in the summer or fall of 2025, with rebate amounts expected to remain consistent with previous rounds. Interested parties can learn more and apply through the NJ ZIP program page or reach out to ben@evxadvisors.com for assistance.
